Daphne Lee Centre is a non-profit organisation in South Africa whose mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for adults with disabilities.
The Centre was established on 3 April 1981 as an initiative by Sr. Daphne Lee who identified a need for a place of safety for physically and mentally challenged adults who could not actively participate in the working environment. The Centre was then situated at 4 Tolmay Street, Neserhof, Klerksdorp and there were only 21 day workers at the Centre. With fundraising and other initiatives over the years the Centre moved to its current address, at 10 Irene Street, 1 February 1994.
