Our Mission

The goal of the Centre is to provide a safe and caring environment for adults with disabilities in our care, where all enjoy equal human rights and freedoms and where social needs are met.

Daphne Lee Centre is a Centre for those adults who are physically or mentally challenged, who came from a poor social background and who are over the age of 18 years.
The Centre was established on 3 April 1981 as an initiative by Sr. Daphne Lee who identified a need for a place of safety for physically and mentally challenged adults who could not actively participate in the working environment.
We offer both a Residential and Day-Care Programme at the Centre where all 63 clients in our care enjoy equal human rights and freedoms, and where social needs are met. A variety of creative activities and sport promotes opportunities for mental stimulation and socialisation as well as encouraging a sense of hope and positive living.
